Awareness Event to Promote Health

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain Campus organized a comprehensive awareness event titled "Check-Up for Thiqah Cardholders", in collaboration with specialized health authorities, reflecting the university’s commitment to promoting health awareness among its students and staff. The event aimed to encourage the university community to undergo free regular health check-ups for Thiqah cardholders and to provide flu vaccination services.
The event featured a range of health services and activities, including free medical screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and body mass index. Specialists also offered medical consultations on the importance of regular health follow-ups, and flu vaccinations were provided free of charge to all attendees. Awareness brochures and symbolic gifts were distributed to promote health culture, and a dedicated dental check-up corner offered advice and consultations.
At the conclusion of the event, participants emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives to enhance public health awareness within the university community, highlighting the university’s commitment to delivering more awareness programs and activities as part of its future plans.
