University of Al Ain Secures Second Place in University Football Championship and Earns Spot in National Championship

The University of Al Ain – Abu Dhabi campus continued its sporting excellence by securing second place in the University Football Championship for the Abu Dhabi Emirate, which included teams from Abu Dhabi, the Western Region, and Al Ain, following a strong performance and fierce competition.
The tournament was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports, the UAE Sports Federation for Schools and Universities, Abu Dhabi Entertainment Company, and the Solution+ Mubadala Group, aiming to enhance athletic competition among university students and nurture sporting talent in the country.
Thanks to this achievement, the University of Al Ain – Abu Dhabi campus officially secured a spot in the National Championship, which will feature the top two teams from each emirate, providing the team with a new opportunity to prove their skill at the national level.
It is noteworthy that the University of Al Ain has a strong sporting record in this tournament, having won first place in the Abu Dhabi Emirate five times, second place twice, and securing second place in the National Championship last year, making it one of the most successful universities in these competitions with a total of eight consecutive championships.
The university administration expressed its great pride in the team's performance, praising the efforts of the players and coaching staff, and reaffirmed its continued support for university sports as an essential part of academic life at the university.
